The best thing to do is set up a job alert so that you can be notified when new jobs in your area get listed in your area.

Don’t worry, apply with confidence anyway! Many of our jobseekers have been out of employment for a few years and are motivated to get back in either because their child is now at school or daycare, they are finding the costs of living high, or are looking to make a career change.

Remember, parenthood is a great teacher of soft skills that can be transferred into many other professions.

We understand that daycare costs are a big factor for many families.

We support parents by advocating for more flexible work opportunities that might help reduce daycare costs. For Example;

  • Some of our roles can be done at non-peak times to alleviate childcare costs.
  • Some of our roles are entirely output driven so you can choose your own hours.
  • Some of our roles offer childcare benefits- especially in the education sector.

The employees that advertise roles with Jobs for Mums already know you have the most important job there is – being a parent!

Many of our employers give you the flexibility to either work from home or choose the hours that work for you and your family.

At Jobs for Mums we believe the key to long-term economic growth for New Zealand is rooted in diversity and equality.

Our focus is on making it easier for underrepresented groups of people to enter the workforce on better terms, which is why we are called Jobs for Mums.

However, our platform is for everyone and anyone looking for flexible work opportunities.

We work with many dads and other caregivers looking for a better way. Our goal is to make working easier for all parents and caregivers in New Zealand.

We currently do not have the ability to provide one-on-one care.

However, we partner with others, who might be able to provide support to our community.

The best thing to do is to get in touch and we will do our best to support you in your employment journey as much as possible.
