What is the Flexi Wage Programme?
The Flexi-Wage Programme is a wage subsidy of up to $9,936 to employers who hire job seekers facing barriers to employment, helping them gain work experience and skills while earning an income. The program helps both job seekers and employers by making it easier to find work and create inclusive workplaces.
This financial assistance can significantly alleviate the costs of hiring and training new staff, making it an attractive option for businesses seeking to expand their workforce.

What if I already have someone in mind or have recently hired someone?
If you have an employee in mind, contact us before they start work. We can talk to you about whether you can get Flexi-wage for them. If you have already hired through us, let us know and we can see if that person qualifies for this programme.
How much can get from the Flexi wage programme?
The payment amount is determined based on the individual’s circumstances and the hours of their work contract, whether it is part-time or full-time. Depending on how much support they need, you may be able to get a wage contribution for:
24 weeks, at $276 a week, totaling $6,624 (GST inclusive), or
36 weeks, at $276 a week, totaling $9,936 (GST inclusive).
What paperwork do I need to complete?
When you hire someone, you will need to provide us with an email stating that you hired that person and the start date. You will also need to complete a monthly time sheet form so the wages can be paid out to you. Also, we will call you as required to check in and provide support.
